Bio

Paul A. Choinski, MD, FACS is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in Cataract, Glaucoma, Dry Eye, and Comprehensive Ophthalmology with over 30 years of medical and surgical experience. Dr. Choinski practices in Eastern Long Island, New York in Hampton Bays, Riverhead, and Southampton. Dr. Choinski likes to see his patients leave with a smile and is fascinated by the intricacy involved in a cataract operation. He was raised in Smithtown, Long Island where he completed his primary education. Dr. Choinski is happy to offer his patients state of the art Femtosecond laser cataract surgery technology such as multifocal and astigmatism correcting intraocular lens implants. He is totally at home in the operating room and derives great pleasure in doing the best he can to restore a patient’s vision. Dr Choinski resides in Water Mill, New York with his wife and their four children where he enjoys some of his favorite pastimes are physical fitness, skiing, golf, hiking, and gardening.
